Hope Velocette, owner of Chrysalis Studio, is a designer of the experience, a visual storyteller who focuses her projects to evoke emotion.

Dreaming big down to the details, Chrysalis Studio is capable of supporting all phases of design from conception to completion. Hope Velocette is A NCIDQ certified professional who matches big beautiful ideas with strong visual presentation, verbal communication, and project management skills that are all inclusive, allowing everyone from the client to the contractor, subs, and vendors to understand and contribute to the project's outcome.

Her childhood was spent outdoors, running over the large, flat landscapes of rural Florida.  Dramatic weather struck often, bright sunny skies suddenly pushed up against dark thunderous clouds.  This is where Hope’s imagination and creative spirit were ignited.

As she grew up, Hope was in constant search of a medium to express emotion as an art form.  Focusing on ballet and modern she danced her way through her teens then started working for Urban Outfitters at the age of 21.  By the age of 24 Hope was positioned at the company’s headquarters and recognized as a creative spirit who also possessed strong leadership and management abilities.  In total, Hope would spend 15 years, strengthening her design and creative management skills with both Urban Outfitters and sister brand Free People as a Senior Manager of Environment and Interiors.   On top of building a creatively rich career, Hope graduated with honors from Moore College of Art and Design where she received a BA in interior design.

In 2015 Hope began working independently and founded Chrysalis Studio, a company focused on creating experiential interiors for residential and commercial clients.
